The Three Types of Oil We Offer
There are three main types of an oil change, with the exception of a diesel vehicle oil change. They are a conventional oil change, a semi-synthetic oil change, and a full synthetic oil change.

Conventional Oil Change
A conventional oil change uses oil that is made from 100% petroleum-based materials. This type of oil change has been around the longest, is the least expensive, and lasts about 3 months to 3,000 miles.

Semi-Synthetic Oil Change
A semi-synthetic oil change uses a blend of traditional petroleum-based oil and synthetic oil. This type of oil change lasts longer than a conventional oil change. Semi-synthetic oil lasts longer than conventional oil, about 5 months or 5,000 miles, and is more expensive than conventional oil.

Full Synthetic Oil Change
The fully synthetic oil used in a full synthetic oil change is made completely from manufactured materials. This type of oil change lasts the longest- about 7 months or 7,000 miles. It is also the most expensive.
Which Oil is Right for Your Vehicle?
The different types of oil changes are meant for different types of vehicles. Generally, the higher the performance capabilities of the vehicle, the higher the grade of oil change it will take. Higher grades of oil are more resistant to heat and wear. That's why they last longer. They also protect your vehicle better and for longer. If you want to extend the operational life of your car or truck, giving it a higher grade of oil change may be an option. Our automotive experts can help you decide if your vehicle can take a higher grade of oil change than the manufacturer recommends.
