Responsibilities of Auto Technicians at Dan Deery Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM FIAT®

As an automotive technician at Dan Deery Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM FIAT®, you will be expected to receive repair orders from the dispatcher and then move customers' vehicles to the stall area, where you will perform the work outlined on those orders. As you perform this work, you must follow all federal, local, and state laws and regulations that govern repair service work, as well as following dealership and manufacturer standards for efficiency and accuracy. You may need to diagnose potential problems; if you find that such a problem requires extra work, you should alert the service advisor immediately. As you work, you will be expected to communicate with the parts department to get any parts you need for service. You should also document the work you perform (as well as saving parts if the client requests it or if you are performing recall service), quality check your work, and perform a road test on the vehicle.

In addition, you must attend training classes and keep up to date with technical bulletins.
